Router

The router is a tool that can be likened to a place, so the router is to connect from multiple networks, be it the same network or different networks.

Router function

The router's function is to connect two or more networks to transmit data information from one network to another. In the process of channeling the data information signal earlier, the device is either receiving or which must be connected to the internet.
The function of the router itself is as a divider or reseller IP address stastically or DHCP to all devices of computers or laptops connected on the router device. After that from the router was running, then each connected computer has a unique IP address can be used to perform browsing, LAN settings and internetan.
The use of the router itself most often we meet in the cafe, offices, school administration, hospitality and various businesses or places that use internet service facility. Router technology itself is now more modern and sophisticated with the wireless function. With these advantages, any device or gadget that can withstand radio wave signals, can receive radio waves emitted by the router so you can connect directly to the internet.
How Routers Work In Computer Networks
The workings of this router are called routing that has the ability to transmit data or information on the way. The logic is simple, if the data / information is addressed to a host on another network, then the router will run to the network. However, if the data / information is addressed to a host within a network, then the router will issue the data / information out of the network.

How Routers Work In Computer Networks

The workings of these routers are called routing that has the ability to transmit data or information according to the route of travel to the host either from a fellow network or different network. The logic is simple, if the data / information is addressed to a host on another network, then the router will run to the network. However, if the data / information is addressed to a host within a network, then the router will prevent data / information out of the network.
Below is an illustration of how the router works in a network computer

Illustration How Routers Work in Computer Networks

How Routers Work Based on the illustration illustration above :
1. There are 2 pieces of network connected to a router.
2. The left side of the network connects to the router's 1 port = 192.168.1.200, while the right side network connects to port 2 router = 192.155.2.200.
3. If computer X sends data to computer Z, then the router will not send the data is another network. Same with if computer A sends data to computer B and various pattern in one network.
4. However, if computer Y sends data to computer A, then the router only sends the data to computer B through another network (network 2 to network 1)
